I first discovered the world of adoptables by exploring and searching around on DA one day... probably looking at fanart of a fandom I enjoyed or something! I adopt because 1.) I really love the designs that other artist can create, and I admire how they can just create something, and then sell said design for others to adopt and use, and 2.) It makes me feel like I can be apart of the fandom, since I can imagine or draw my newly adopted OC in said fandom/world! Three words to describe what I look for in an adoptable: 1.) Cute/Cool outward appearance or aesthetic, 2.) Personality is visible from expression or body language that catches my interest or is relatable, & 3.) Can I apply/draw/imagine them being in some of the fandoms/shows/games I enjoy? The adoptables of mine that I love the most are felines, ponies, humans/humanoids, cute outfits, cute & simple designs/chibis, adopts I can use in fandoms I enjoy, etc.!
